i live in NH. except for the ice storm and last nights snow i haven't stopped. i got stranded at work last night. flurries my arse! i bought an electric vest this year. i have to shut it off cause it works so well. if you don't have one yet, get one. i work in a bike shop and was able to find one reasonably priced. I've sold the Gerbings and Widders. the one i got is from Cortech and works just as well for less dough. i might get the optional Temp. Control unit. |
In your WOW thread I asked where you were for the past year. I guess you were in the nut house because you are crazy. You ride all year long in New Hamshire? Insane man, my hat is off to you. |

Trapped at work!??! Talk about a nightmare. If you are going to get snowed in, you at least want there to be a bar and maybe a tv. Of course I don't know where you work - maybe it wasn't so bad?
How much draw does this vest have? These F's have a reputation for weak charging systems, but it sounds like you are not having a problem. |

i don't have a good excuse for not being here. and yes i ride year round, conditions permitting. i hate winter and everything involved with it and i work in a store that sells snowmobiles. i haven't had any problems with the vest and my electrical system. i did go to a better headlight bulb Sylvania SilverStar and LED tail lights bulbs to reduce draw on the system. i also went with a "high" performance Interstate battery. i also use an Opitmate III charger religiously. |

I'm getting sick of this weather and rain in the N.E. Not only is it cutting into riding time business is horrible. I'm getting tired of leaning on the parts counter. |

It doesn't piss me off, I like to hear about people riding in nice weather even though I cannot ride in the nice weather we are having. |

I love to hear that people are riding even though my weather doesn't permit it. Weather will change. When it is nice we ride. |

WTF? up here?
They got 5 inches in WI yesterday.
Roads are clear and dry here, grass is green, sun is shining...
Oh and there are ONLY 1,000,000 people to share the roads with...not 30,000,000
We don't need no stinking lane-spitiing |

ya, I was lane splitting for at least 100 miles of that. The only good thing about lane splitting is that you get to piss off every Civc-Ricer, BMW M5 lawyer asshole, road-rage soccer mom escalade,... as they impatiently sit in their metal coffin....
other than that, it sucks ass! Especially today when I got squeezed next to a semi and a garbage truck. |

"Harley" any..Less than 1 tank... A little over 5 gals today.. (46.8 mpg) Cruz'n all the way... It'll get 50 mpg if I cruz at 65 all the time, but you know how that goes...
Unless you mean the "F" last Saturday I used about 6.5 gals (34.4 mpg) Actually pretty good for the lind of riding we did.. |
