That's a really really really nice bike. I can only hope that someday I might come close to owning something like that. Im really digging the mostly blacked out look. Very very nice! |

That is one sweet F you've got there Gene. So, what's its story?
You guys with your bike collections are starting to make me want another F! An 1100 would make a nice big brother to my 900! |

And because I drove Gene out to pick up his new bike, I get to back next week and pick up my new 81 CB750F that is missing the seat and tail cowling for $100.00 the guy wants out of his garage. |

The guy owned it for many years, and blew the motor or something. He went to L.A. Salvage and found a wreck with 10K on it and put it in there about a year ago. He rode it to Oregon and back, but he's more into muscle cars now. He manages an auto shop, and wants the money for his big toys. |

Nice looking bike. I've always thought that black worked well for the F bikes lines. Your bike is just further proof.
Very happy for you. |

Yeah, it wasn't too cheap, but it's in good enough shape to ride now, and I have plenty of room to spend some money on it before I'm totally upside down. |

And my cast comes off in ten days, when it does the work begins on making a Super F out of it for you Gene.
I can't hardly wait to go back and get the 750F from Dave, my dreams last night were all about a new Black 750/1123Replica with pro-Link suspension jumpin off in my garage along with an 1123 FCRd badass motor that used to be in the red bike. |

Really nice looking bike Gene! I'm happy for you.
I'm sure you have some plans, like some CR or FCR carbs!
What an awesome find though and already really purdy.
You must live right my friend!

Stoked is one way to put it, almost shitting my pants with joy is another. The thing is clean for missing a seat & cowl and I will make money to help with the build up by selling everything that I strip off the bike. {Which is everything down to the frame including the motor that I already have sold }
Your bike has ideas floating all around my head too. 1st things is to get the clutch fixed which you can do today before you even take a shower. Then change the oil and adjust the valves by lunch time. I will be glad to come over and help or to even do the valve adjustment for you just because I am jonesing to do something. |
