This is my 1982 900F. I have owned
it for a little over 2 years. I bought it from the second owner who did
not take very good care of it, nor did he have a good understanding of the
bike (he dressed it up like a cruiser). It spent several Michigan
winters outside. The odometer read around 10K at the time. I have
since put on an additional 5K and tried my best (baring any major mods) to
bring the bike as cosmetically up-to-date as possible. The following is
a list of what I have done to it; installed a “continental kit”, repaint & new
graphics, low-profile rubber, black rims (stock, epoxy coated), drilled
rotors, custom seat, machined out the peg holders, cut off rear fender. and
I'm sure a few other things I’ve since forgotten about. As to be
expected with so few miles on the clock, the engine runs very well and has
plenty of power, it still needs a good cleaning and polishing however.
Hopefully, I will get to that soon. If I can find the pictures I took of it
when I first got it, I will send them. I'm sure they will bring about a few
laughs and maybe a tear or two.
