Is anyone familiar with these? I have the opportunity to purchase a used one in good working condition for $200. 72" long by 48" wide. New, these go for insane money, so I should probably grab it. I can bolt on a wheel vice and some U-clamps and use the ramp from my H-F lift.

It's shorter than the HF lift by approx 15", but still plenty long enough to plant an F firmly on it. Yes, very solid, and very heavy. It won't be getting rolled around like the HF lift.

I have the HF lift. It came with the better wheel chock and I use it all the time. It is now 10 years old and going strong.

Presto is a heavy duty industrial lift, if you can get it for $200, I’d say go for it.

Thanks Gabe. I want to take it, but the weight could be an issue. It's around 700 lbs, which means that getting it into the back of my pickup will be a challenge...not to mention getting it out later.

Ya, there is that, it is an industrial unit. Anybody around you with a tractor with a loader on it? Rent an engine hoist for a few hours? Rent a portable gantry? There’s gotta be a way.

Heck, buy an engine hoist from HF. They are cheap and just so useful to keep around.
