New member from TN checking in. I recently acquired this 1983 from my uncle who didn't want to mess with it. Hasn't ran in years, and not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but this place seems like a good place to start and get some info about the bike. Anyway, hello all.

Welcome to the site, carguy.
Rough starting point but there has been many in worse shape that have been saved on this site.
Is the engine stuck? |

I'm honestly not sure. I know when I checked the oil to see what it looked like, it was bone dry, so I'm assuming it is. For a freebie, I think I'm going to put some fresh oil in, spark plugs, clean the carbs, put some mystery oil in the cylinders, and see if it'll turn over any at all before going too crazy. That's the plan anyway. |

Welcome to site, there is a lot of information available from past posts and member interaction. Your bike is pretty rough.. It does have the front cowl and screen, fuse cover and airbox, nice things to have. Stock exhaust is there.. Your rear shocks are on backwards. You are missing the grab rails..
Not sure what direction you plan to go. If you go stock, I live in Nashville and have parted out 3-4 1100F's and have quite a collection of stock parts available. |

Welcome! As others have said, you've got quite a lot of work ahead of you, but that is indeed part of the fun. Feel free to ask as many questions as you'd like, but the search function is very helpful and should get you started on most issues.
Also, you can resize your pictures in paint and use pixels to 640x480 and it will display to a much better size for forum viewing. |
