Saw this one on my way home on Sunday: a Laverda Jota

I had never seen one before, pretty cool bike. It is a 3cyl 1000cc mill. Some info - http://www.bikeexif.com/laverda-jota. Here's the wiki - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laverda_Jota

This peach was sitting on the sidewalk in Waitsfield, VT. I talked with the owner briefly ( he did the restoration from what I understand) and it sounded like the bike was for sale. Pretty cool.

Most were, but over the years there were other colors offered, and iirc red was one.

I don't think Jotas ever came with full fairings (either none or a 1/2 dolphin), so that's probably aftermarket.

Here's a neat pic from an article Visordown did.

PS: the CB kicks it's orange ass lol

The Laverda in the top photo isn't a Jota, it's an early 3C, probably around 1975 vintage.

Chris.
