does anyone have experience with this? Accident was Sunday.

what i didnt know is a police officer nearby SAW THE WHOLE THING!

In the report it said the driver ran the light and hit me and confessed he "didnt see me." Is this a "win-win" for me? His insurance company asked me to write an email asking for "what i want in compensation."

Im going to the doc tomorrow, praying my wrist isnt broken. It hurts a lot but I can move it. Only one finger hurts in the area between my knuckles and wrist. Maybe a metacarpal break. Who knows...

Any advice on anything?

+1. Additionally, read the front page of the Forum, for the criteria for posts. Nothing Technical here, so belongs in the Chit Chat or the Great Beyond, similar to your post about the accident.

My advice is that if I were seriously injured, I would have sought professional medical treatment before claiming on a bike forum that my wrist was broken, then 4-5 days later revealing that I never sought medical treatment and instead had guessed about my injury and now was looking for advice on how to score from an insurance company.

WOWDad, editing your first post doesn't change the quoted text in other forum members' subsequent posts...FYI
