Met Rick and JR for breakfast yesterday and were joined by JRs Bonneville Salt Flats race team.
Really good time and went to their shop afterwards to check the bike out.

Went to JRs shop afterwards to check out his sweet projects. He started the supercharged Gold Wing for us
and it sounds great. Sorry, no photos of that but enjoyed seeing both these guys again. They are really a lot of fun!!Image

Would have loved to been there to see that myself. Nothing like seeing with your own eyes how it is engineered.

Also had a great trip, I first stopped in Pittsburgh and dropped off a Transalp for my son to ride on the nicer winter days and then in Ohio (on my way to Detroit) I got to meet Luckysox for lunch and a visit to his shop. Luckysox has an encyclopedic knowledge and has helped me out a number of times and this trip allowed us to meet in person for the first time - thanks for everything Dale.

In Detroit, it is great to see JR and Ken again and this time was no disappointment with a closeup look at the Bonneville racer and the supercharged Gold Wing. Also glad Hondo57 could make the trip, great to see you again and good luck with your current build.
