I like the idea of starting to change my own tires. For those of you doing so, how do you dispose of the old tires?

thanks,

I take mine to the car tire shop I've been dealing with for years. No problem.

I bring them to an inspection/gas station not far from home. He takes them for $2 apiece since he has to pay to dispose of them. If you have places that will take them for free, that's a deal.

Thanks for the ideas. My town's recycling center will not take tires, but now that Leroy mentions it, i need to check to see if the county recycling center will take tires. Paying a small fee to a local shop to take them wouldn't be the end of the world.

Put them on the ground around your sprinklers.
