I haven't figured out pic posting yet since the demise of photofuckit so its just text I'm afraid. Many years ago I told Redstedman that if ever he decided to sell his cbx then I wanted first refusal. So yesterday we met up at his place and with a tear in his eye he allowed me to hand him a check and load her onto my trailer. We also agreed on full visitation rights and I promised to treat her well. She needs a little love before riding and I am looking forward to the task and responsibility that Red has entrusted to me. |

Thanks,
First pic is Red saying goodbye. Second is after I got her home and gave her a quick rinse off. |

Nice pick up Nick! Looks like you have a very good bike to work some resto magic on. Is that a first year CBX?
How is Red doing? I was just up to Northern Michigan, drove on some of the roads we had ridden our bikes on. Can't help but think of Red when I'm up there!!
Cheers!

I'm happy and sad at the same moment.
I remember the first time I met Red on a ride with his CBX (years ago), he'd flog that bike, pipes making music, and be out of sight in just a few seconds.
I hope you'll enjoy it as much as he did.
I know it's going to a good home. |

Yeah I know. It does make picking up.another bike so easy. When I went to get the X from Red we went to look at a SOHC 750 that also interested me. Luckily that trailer only holds one bike. |
