I had a gentleman in the UK purchase an 1100f exhaust from me for his so I believe they are the same.
This could've been a consolation for not giving the UK the 1100f in the first place. |

In Euroland the 1100F and 82/83 900F OEM exhausts are all completely interchangeable, it's just the finish that may be different.
These models all have the extra sump mounting points which protects the exhaust from stress cracking due to the rubber mounted engines.
83 1100FD black chrome
82 900FC chrome
83 900FD black chrome
There are differences in the 1100F exhaust tail pipe exit size depending on which market it was sold in, so maybe differences in the 900 as well, but given the rarity of them now I think it's a case of beggars can't be choosers.
Some OEM exhaust parts from the 750F range such as brackets and shields should be interchangeable too, but not the main sections as the 750 has a shorter cylinder height so the headers are too short. |

Not to omit the obvious, but the 1100 exhaust is black and everything else is chrome. |

In Euroland the 83 900FD had a black chrome exhaust identical to the 1100F. |
