Up here in the cold northern tundra it's hit 43 celsius, that's 109 American degrees. Been stinking hot for a couple Weeks now, just had 2500 people evacuated across the lake from where I live due to forest fires, we have well over 100 fires burning province wide. Maybe global warming is only affecting the northern hemisphere?

I hope they get that fire cleaned up. I am coming out there in a week for a family reunion and my brother-in-law is part of the evacuees. He had to leave his bike in the garage. I sure hope that fire doesn't do any damage. You can dial back the heat a bit too.

Rain storms and thunderstorms here in South Florida every single day (sometimes twice a day) since summer started. I hope we don't get any hurricane, with the soil saturated with water as it is right now, we will be flooded in no time.
