Someone on another site suggested it looked like the Goldwing and the Rune had a baby.

It's the frivolous girth, too much form without without apparent function, and too much surface area. The Valk of old was leaner looking, less of a poser. The engine, frame, and other significant technology should show more, not be wrapped up in cheesy looking bulgy plastic. The ratio of colored pieces vs. the grayed pieces seems wrong, and the pipe is fugly. I don't care for the location of the round Honda badge, and it looks like a nostalgic badge on a bike that otherwise appears anything but.

Honda needs to design a mean looking engine again and get rid of all the plastic. Like the older valkyries a lot.

Agreed. Too much plastic crap on it. Earlier Valkyrie looked better. New one has potential, but not realized...
