I don't like the exhaust, it's just... too small or something.
CB1300's are cool. I prefer the naked version instead of the tophalf one, it just looks more brutal. Once I get a full-time job after my study I'll be looking into getting one of these after some saving! I'll probably make a testride on one of them this summer, they're around enough over here
-ofcourse this doesn't mean I'll sell my F! |

I wish to formally lodge a complaint as I feel it's horribly unfair that you have access to this machine and we don't. So, if you do get one, just keep it to yourself, OK

Funny you should mention that. Most of the newer exhausts are wayyyy too big IMO, and I think this one is just right! Good thing there room around here for many varying opinions. Hell, I wouldn't even mind owning a Harley!.......After I get an "F" or two. |

Why are non-sportbike racebikes so hot?
I think it's some deep perversion that affects some of us. If I see another "tuner" crotch rocket I think I'll fall into a boredom coma but bikes like the Yoshimura Hayabusa or the Kainzinger Vmax require a change of underpants.
Why is our government spending money researching cow-pharts when this phenomenon is still unexplained! Answers! |

I think it's an age thing. Ever since I saw Kaz's Black CB750F monster on the cover of Cycle(?) magazine, I've been hooked, (Sorry, I tried to find a photo but was unable to). Even before that, the CB400F started it for me styling wise. Although I bought a '87 CBR1000F because it was the best non-crotch rocket model available that year, I hated the styling and I've never liked the idea of covering up the engine, the heart and soul of the machine.

I absolutely loved the 1000F Hurricanes! I wanted one sooooooooooo bad in '87 and '88. There was just something about that "buffalo" look they had that just really triggered the stiffy for me. I look at them now and they look so, let's say... dated. I'd still like to have one though. I guess the XX had the same appeal to me and I held out as long as I could...
That radiator on the 13 does look like a Peterbuilt subcontract part doesn't it? |
