So I received a Forseti complete engine gasket set today, first time I had ever ordered one and it came with 16 valve stem seals which I didn't expect and I think is a huge bonus as they can be expensive by themselves. I paid AU $130. What do you guys think or what is your experience. Thanks.

Get a set of Viton Valve Stem seals from Genesound, as well has the hardened cam cap bolts, and use them in your build.

Every complete gasket kit I have ever had. Came with the valve guide seals. I through all of them away and buy Viton seals from Genesound.

The viton seals that Genesound sells are superior.

+1 A lot of the valve seals out there are crap - they don't last. The viton seals sold by Genesound are first rate, everyone should use them. I highly recommend the hardened cam cap bolts as well, the OEM bolts are too easy to snap - and when that happens you're in deep poo. Ed

Thanks guys. beerchug

Just click on the blue links in my sig for more info.

Shipping to Oz for the bolts is a bit spendy due to weight, but they still come out cheaper than the stock OEM bolts, and they're far superior.

Thanks for the advice, do the bolts still snap if torqued correctly.

They're much stronger than the stock bolts, which I believe were over spec'd at 9-12 ft lbs.
I broke stock bolts torqued to 10.5 ft lbs with a high dollar SnapOn inch pound torque wrench many years
ago. 12 ft lbs is really too much for the stock ones, and unnecessary. I think Brent said he sets his at 8 ft lbs.

In the 12.9 Cam Holder Bolts ad linked below, I wrote:
Grade 12.9 6 mm socket head bolt kits with washers for the cam holders (cam tower caps) are much stronger
than the stock bolts. The stock Honda bolts like to break. The guys that have tried these on the DOHC I-4s and
CBXs really like them. I did a rudimentary stress test, and they held over 14.5 ft lbs without any problem, and
felt very firm. I recommend about 9 ft lbs on them, so as not to overburden the threads in the aluminum head.
These require a 5mm Allen Head driver.
