I am from Singapore and I had imported the CB1100F from the USA.

Is there any alternative aftermarket rearset for the USA CB1100F?
I find the stock rearset uncomfortable for any ride more than 30minutes. Sometimes I even get cramps at my hips. I also ride bikes like the Aprilia Tuono 1000 R and V4R and Moto Guzzi 1200 Sport. These bikes have a more sporty peg position and I have no problem with them. But the CB1100F's forward peg position is uncomfortable to ride in for me.
I tried searching over the internet for any aftermarket rearset but I could only find rearsets for the Euro CB1100F.

Fastfromthepast

How are the stock Euro rearsets different from the USA Rearsets for the CB1100F?

Any help is much appreciated.

The Euro or Australian bikes have clipon handlebars and rearsets, but not as aggressive as aftermarket Japanese rearsets.

Here are some replacement ideas, you will need a shorter rear engine hanger bolt, M10x365 to replace your M10x406 bolt (or cut yours down)

I have used the Woodstock and Nitro Racing rearsets, very aggressive riding position compared to the US setup but that is what you want.

Hi Sillygoose,

Do you have a photo of the rearset on your CB1100F?

I am not actually looking for an very aggressive riding position. I just want something that will push back the pegs a little more than the stock peg position.
Would the rearsets of the CB900F work on the CB1100F?

I have a set of original Australian 1100F rear sets spare.
They come with new Footpeg rubbers, frame bolt, and the correct alloy gear pedal and brake pedal.
They would need polishing to be perfect.

I bought the Nitro rearsets from Webike. They come with the shorter rear engine hanger bolt. If you buy them, be sure to get the set with rear brake master cylinder included, stock does not work with them.. They are pricey but worth it..

That is nice but looks like an extensive mod. I assume you had also made other changes to the bike's handlebar, suspension, wheels and seat.

Yes, several changes, see my avatar.. But, I still use a stock seat, just cut a little foam out...
