That's a beautiful bike and an excellent ad, Tom. Good luck with the sale. It's worth every penny you;re asking.
Cheers. |

Yes, goddamn, Tom. I saw that in the Worcester CL and knew right away it was yours. Spot on pricing, in my opinion. My secret goal is to one day own one of your bikes. I'm on a Kz650 now, which is just insanely fun. So light! Not a lot of power, though...but enough. Cheers. |

Ben, I don't plan to sell either of the RM's unless I build a third one that I like even more. So if you want to own one of my bikes, this is the one. Come and get it! |

I don't think I'm too far off on the price, considering that this is a turnkey bike with restored bodywork, gold boomies, and lots of other improvements. It's ridden regularly and doesn't need anything except a new owner. I will entertain a reasonable offer from a forum member, else I'll hang onto it and wait until the right buyer comes along in the future.

Tom, I see the listing is gone, did you find a buyer? |

I think CL is a tough place to sell a bike of that high caliber. Ebay will give you millions of eyeballs on an ad, many of whom will not hesitate for a second to pay to ship it. Ive sold multiple bikes on CL and one on ebay. I was much more comfortable with the process on ebay as opposed to the jokers that show up with CL. I had a bike listed on CL for months, no sale. I listed it on ebay for the same price plus the 10% commission, it sold within 1/2 hour to some guy 1,110 miles away. |

if you wanted to pay for a listing this site would be my choice.
I plan to list my VFR on there at some point.

That's awesome tom, glad you found a buyer and even better one of our own! The new owner will be very happy, no doubt. Does this mean you may be headed my way soon for the Ford? I haven't even checked to see if it sold. |

Yesterday evening, Mario's 1100F was loaded into the second level of a giant trailer and is now on it's way to CA. That was my first 1100F - it came to me running, but in rough shape. Lots of time and effort went into making it a solid rider and I enjoyed it for close to 9 years. Now it's Mario's turn to have fun with it. It's gone from my garage, but it will never be forgotten. |

That's the way to go! No crating needed. I hope your bike enjoys it's new life on the left coast!
Cheers!

Hey sixdog,
How do you like having an 1100 again? Tom loaned me that bike once on one of our NE rides due to carb problems I was having on my 750. it was the most time I spent riding an 1100 and I loved it. Glad its in the family and it made it out safely. enjoy.
Eric. |
