Finally managed to do a wheel alignment on my project with the help off Jim sawtell and Brent hyde .
The swing arm was modified by Jim and sent to me plus a frame gusset kit.
I Had the frame put in brents jig and the head stock angle changed and removable piece welded in and strengthened.
I can't claim any kudos for this work and thank jim and brent for their effort .
The swing arm is perfect and square and the frame is true and after checking everything, the markings on the swing arm
are correct and the chain is running true . on the road it rides well and straight very much a improvement on the old .
I highly recommend the modifications as it truly transforms the old bike .

Hi Peter, Thank you for the props. I'm glad you like the end results.

The swingarm is from a 98 to 00 GSXR600 a TL1000S swingarm works as well but is 2 lbs heavier. I use to use those until I found the lighter 600 arm has the same dimensions but a heavier center web for the weird shock setup that Suzuki used on those bikes. I think some GSXR750's used the same arm but more 600's have been crashed and parted then the others IMO.
BTW, I make and sell DIY kits or can setup the arm for you but there is a waiting list as I'm very busy.

Peace, Jim

I forgot to add jim the marks on the swing arm were perfect and the fit into the frame nice and snug,
PS did you find the jets etc I lost the clip in the mess and used a p clip which works well.
Cheers

Hi Peter,
no they never showed and no help from the USPS. After the holidays I'll try again with them.

Peace, Jim
