1100F Clutch Cable--motion pro

Seem to remember that the Motion Pro aftermarket Clutch Cable was TOO LONG when compared to the OEM length.

Is my memory correct or was I having a Bad Dream??

Looking to have a good spare "just in case".

CB1100F 22870-MG5-406 US
Inner cable: 54.25”
Outer cable: 50.25”
Threaded adjuster: 2”

CB900F 22870-425-010 US
Inner cable: 59.125”
Outer cable: 55.125”
Threaded adjuster: 1.625”

I think someone mentioned in that thread (or another one I read) that Motion Pro was considering a fix for the problem - anyone know if they ever fixed it?

Motion Pro has undoubtedly received numerous complaints about this issue for several years now. If makes no sense to offer a product that's no good for the intended application and fixing it is a simple matter. Shame on them if they haven't by now. Sad

When i needed a new one for my Euro CB1100F in the UK i went to Venhill cables as they are close to me

They only listed one for a 1983 CB1100RD which fits a Euro CB1100F which was handy and had one in stock, i had them make me a couple of spares as well

Would not fit a US model but may be handy info for members with Canadian and Euro models
