As Chevy Chase says in Christmas Vacation " It's all part of the experience !!!"
Just think about all the good times and stories you would not have had otherwise !!!!
I'm sure Matt would say he went broke keeping you in beer ha |

(B/750 superbike). |

genesound, I was referring to how the weekly publication Cycle News, was printed in the 80's, actually throughout the 90's, they may have added color to covers by 2000 or so but full color for Cycle News, probably didn't come into play until their online publication the last 10 years or so |

JJam, what was done to that bike ?
It was a full blown superbike by the end of 1982, which of course was the worst time to be building a superbike, with the end of the air cooled inline 4 Honda F bikes, and the AMA superbike displacement going to 750cc's for the 1983 season
Dave Rash at D&D Exhaust and Ron Scrima at RES, had built a F bike previously patterned after the 80/81 Honda factory bikes, that you saw Doug Polen on the video at Texas World Speedway, so it had shock mount mods, relocated steering head, braced frame, welded in removable subframe, Gold Wing forks, etc
Dave and Ron did all the frame mods
I spent most of that year building the bike, racing my production 900F, which I still have.
I built a 750 Superbike motor, as I had intentions of going AMA racing in 83.......
As most aspiring racer stories go, reality, life, budget, marriage, kids etc changed those plans
The 750 Interceptor came out in 1983, and of course made these bikes pretty much obsolete, so I ended up with one of those, and basically gave this bike away a year or two later
Wish I knew where the remains were today 😀
Good times good memories |

Ronnie, you should have come to the 82 GNF at Road Atlanta instead of Daytona. Matt needed some competition. |
