Enjoyed this piece quite a bit ! You do an excellent job of putting the reader right there with you. I think even a non-rider would appreciate the excitement you convey. Fun read ! |

Great story was this at the old airport in Dallas ? If I remember correctly, Jack Wilson got hit pretty hard as one of the riders came into pits. I was riding a 400 Four. |

No wasn't me at a NTNOA meeting. Yes, Jack Wilson was holding a pit board to mark their pit stop and the bike came in too hot and knocked him down..........
Was a great time to be roadracing in Texas, with lots going on. |

New members ?? Some older members haven’t read this before (me) and it’s a good read.
I’ve wondered where you have been so it’s good to see you are still dropping in.

An awesome story and it's nice to hear from you Bob. Please frequent the forum more often, as you have a wealth of engine building experience that we would love you to share.
I hope your health is improving.

many more stories to tell but just haven't taken
the time to put them in short story form.
right now I just want to get back to work before I
run out of time, passion, desire.

Great story, Bob.
It is always nice to see the striped blue hot rod in your avatar knowing you have stopped by for a visit. |
