Tip:
Just buy a rotor and stator from a Yamaha xj 900 for little money on EBay.
This components are way better than Honda and aftermarket.
Cbf people in Germany use em for years already. Even under competition conditions. Never heard about problems.
Cheers
AJ

I thought the parts were from a 600cc bike? I want to be sure because I am about to buy the parts for one of my 1100’s.

Thank you for bringing this up.

Peace, Jim

I have one of these and plan to buy a couple more since they're so much cheaper. I bought the correct size "puller" bolt at my local hardware store for future needs.

I have several of the Yamaha rotors in my stash(s). The only one I have used so far is on my 79 750F, and it works spectacular. Can't go wrong for $20 or so bucks.

Just rechecked the source of my Dyno.it is from a Yam xj900 .
But you can use the Dyno of the smaller ones like xj 650. they are even lighter than the xj900.
But the 900 is more durable. I’ll stay with the xj 900.
Cheers

Haha! Not quite. First start for that motor was May 2016, and it now has 5,364.5 miles on it. Zero charging issues.

OK, but it's still a success story. Thanks for the clarification.
