Chico

You are correct, I have been out of the wind since my wife wrecked her 2005 883.

She is still less the thrilled about the new bike.

Just getting back. But I have been collecting pats that whole time.

She was a 79. Long gone, she was a victim of the above mentioned 883 wreck!

You can have them for the shipping if you resize your photo so this thread displays nicely.

I probably have an extra of the lighter alloy brake pedal used on the 1100f sport kit but it looks like you got the heavier one original to the US 750f sport kit.

Now you need a brake pivot spring and you are complete (except for some hardware and the special washers on the rear footpegs).

I cropped out the empty space and resized it to be 1024 pixels wide. Download this version and replace the picture in your original post.

I was thinking about the aluminum one, but I think I will stay with the older one. I only paid 50 bucks for these and I am going to send them out for powder coating. Also I have like 3 sets of the passenger pegs and brackets. I really need the rider peg and bracket though!! If you can tell me how to resize that photo I will!!!!! The guy I bought these from said they were in his garage since 1983.

If you're using a PC you could download and use Irfanview. It's free and works real well.

It allows you to crop and resize images on your computer (among other things) before you post them on the site.

Mike - I recommend Tom, user 'tomk1960' here, for your powdercoat needs. He does great work for fair prices and loves these bikes as much as anyone. I've been to his shop and pawed a variety of the parts he has prepped and coated, it is all beautiful stuff. His site - http://www.tomscyclerecycling.com/

Welcome aboard, let's see some pics of the bike!

Mike you more than doubled the number of posts in less than 24 hrs. That's an accomplishment. Laughing

ADK

I have seen Tom's work, and it is beautiful. I also contacted him about caliper and master cyl. restoration (quite some time ago).

but I have a local guy who also does some amazing work. So I like to spend my money locally, I am going with him " or not" . We will see.

Also I posted photos in the picture thread.

Nice pics, I responded in that thread. Agreed, it is good to support the local guy.

I am beginning to love Craigslist a whole lot!! Just picked up a '79 150mph speedo, and a pristine set of grab rails.
