When all is said and done, I think that what you've done deserves a write-up in Motorcycle Classics. I'll volunteer to let them feature it mounted on my next resto-mod build. |

Crazy...Just crazy!
Just got the call, Laser guy is done. Picking it up later this week!
Just started school for Industrial Design Engineering! My days basically start at 7am and I get home around midnight. It doesn't seem like work when it's something you enjoy right?
I spent the last 2 weeks, testing out of the beginning classes. I had to learn solidworks, because I learned on a different CAD software (fusion360) Lucky for me, it was quite similar, just different keybinds. |

This was explained to me like this, there are 2 kinda defined roles, design engineering and industrial design.
ID = design and aesthetics of a product. colors, texture, sounds.
DE = Taking an idea or concept and creating a product with functionality.
IDE = the melding of both, create a product for mass production, from begining to end. Design, prototype, test, manufacture, produce, logistics etc. Much like what I did with this exhaust.

My commute is an avg of 30-45min each way, I work 7am-5pm with my first job, and 6-12am on my 2nd job. I have a 3rd one as a graphic designer, but I do that per diem and usually have about a days work a week which I take care of on weekends. It's a lot, and honesty, I do enjoy my work which is why I think I'm doing this to myself, haha. |

Thank you for the explanation. I'm ID with some of the other two.

Exhaust is 99.9% done. Right now it's just cleaning, test fitting, polishing.
I had a mishap with packaging the exhaust, and the boxes I ordered are too small. It doesn't give enough space between the ends of the exhaust for cushion. I wanted at least 2'' of space so I could pack foam. We did a scrap metal test and threw the boxes around and it dented the metal inside. New boxes are back ordered, and I can't find them cheaper anywhere else. They will notify me when they are in stock, I called and they said should be in stock within the week.
I'm going in when I can this week to personally test fit every single exhaust. So when they ship to you, you will have the marks from the test fit, I can't really financially handle a return so I want to 1000% make sure they fit before they are sent out. |

I am happy to pull the trigger too. I live in Sydney Australia, but I have a drop-ship address in the USA so only domestic shipping required which should make it easier for you. |

Thanks guys!
Boxes just came back in stock. If you guys have any tips for packaging, I was going to wrap every piece in 1/4'' foam padding, then bubble wrap that, then use brown craft paper to fill the space, and a few extra layers of cardboard on the ends of the exhaust for impact. The box is 30x15x15 double heavy corrugated #275. I hope all this will be fedex/ups drop kick proof. |

I usually double box now after making a couple mistakes. If I cant do that, I wrap very good and use extra cardboard on the top, bottom and sides. Then enough 2" packing tape wrapped all around the box on every flat surface and direction. Definitely insure for the amount necessary because its only a few dollars more. |

Get a box of the large size Glad 2ml Black trash bags.
Can of expanding foam.
Rest exhaust in the box, on top of trash bag, and then fill the trash bag with expanding foam and before it hardens wrap around the individual pieces.
Makes a form fitted protective coating.
Corbin uses this process for their seats before shipping. |

Much bigger kits at Lowe's or Home Depot. Get the extra nozzles and have your way with it! |
