I'm sure that everyone would be totally cool with that. I posted a notice over on the VFR Discussion Group Forum right after I posted the updated list here. Hopefully we'll get some takers. Maybe go over there and let them know that you plan to come.

Hey guys and gals (maybe?) going to this meetup. Please express interest in parts either here or in messages, so Jamie can load up what is wanted. There's a lot of really good parts that could use a new home. My 900F project is done so I really don't need anything that's on my shelves currently. Cash talks and we will be letting the parts go cheap. If you don't see it in my list, ask, I might have it!

Dean

I am in the market for an 1100 motor for rebuilding. If anyone has one to bring or a line on one, I'd be interested.

Thanks,
Peter.

Thanks for the inclusion Tom, was afraid you had my name sent to the border crossing as an 'undesirable'.

I'm in need of a 900F front fender if someone has a spare.

Got you covered, Tom.

Anybody else need anything? Somebody want a Greer Fairing? Saddleman seat? Jardine 4 into 1 exhaust? Powdercoated valve covers? A set of silver comstars (probably from a 750)? Tail pieces, a set of 900 cams, miscellaneous electrical/cables/handlebars. A decent set of 750 shocks (non reservoir)? And much more!

Edit to add: parts from the beast disassembly:
900F OEM Carbs (and I'll throw in the airbox, as well) rebuilt by Mike Nixon two seasons ago, $250
Recently PC'd 900F Forks, no leaks, bolt up ready to go (fresh Progressive springs ) $125
The Saddleman seat listed above, $75
Jardine 4 into one exhaust, good condition, $100
A set of repainted 900 Comstars in excellent condition (with rotors and a set of Pirelli Sport Demon tires) $150 (May not be available on Sunday)

Alright F-er's, last call on parts! We are going to be loading stuff up on Wednesday because I'm going out of town after that. If anyone wants something from the list or ANYTHING else please speak up.

Offers welcome! We won't be insulted.

I really would like to see that motor go...it's mostly complete minus cams, pistons, starter clutch, and some small miscellaneous things and hardware. If there's no offer made, it will be staying home because it's big and heavy Smile

Does one of you coming tomorrow have a spare set of 1100F cylinders you're willing to part with? I have good sleeves, so I just need the cylinders. I can trade PC services, completed parts, or cash in exchange.

If ya got 'em, bring 'em!

Tom

P.S. I'm bringing a friend's full 900F 4-into-2 exhaust with me for sale. It's in decent shape - not perfect, but certainly good for an every day rider.

99% certain I'll be there.

I could use a clutch cable & set of throttle cables as spares for a CB900F.

We had a great turnout - either 18 or 19 people (and Rick's two pups) ended up coming. The diner was very accommodating and had our spot all ready when we got there. Considering how busy the place was and how many people were waiting to be seated, we were treated like royalty.

There was definitely some swapping of parts and a few bucks exchanged here and there. There were a couple of cigars and lots of laughs. Down below are a couple of pics, but I know that there are quite a few others with pictures that they need to share here.

Thanks everyone for making the trip. It was a great way to break up the long winter.

Tom
P.S. What the heck is on the back of Rick's T-shirt?

神鳴, literally ‘god sound’ is the god of thunder in Japan. Here represented as a hot lady demon in a bikini holding a spark plug.

Not appropriate for an F gathering?

Totally appropriate - I have no issue with hot demon ladies in bikini's. Bring 'em on!

Thanks to Tom for setting this up and especially to SillyGoose for hosting me a couple of nights so I could make it there.
