I took a compression test today but I didn't take out all of the sparkplugs. Just the one on the cylinder i measured, then I put the sparkplug back in and measured another and so on. Would this give me a false reading? Should I do it once more with all the plugs out simultaneously?

The bike was warm and I had it at full throttle when measuring.

The test gave me the numbers one to fourth carb: 151, 150, 150, 151 - Sound good?

Any comment or suggestion is welcome.

Remove all spark plugs. Be sure to hold carbs wide open, no choke. Check all 4 this way & write numbers down. Can add some WD40 & retest. If compression comes up quite a bit, bad rings. If just a little, bad valves. Valves are more of a problem than rings on these motors. Spin mtr several times to let compression build.

I think you're fine but next time remove all the plugs so it makes it easier to spin the engine. The spec is 170 +- 28 so you're in spec and you don't have any outliers.

Yeah i just did that now, after checking out the manual Twisted Evil

So now i get compression from one to fourth carb: 152.5, 152, 125, 152,5

What do you mean add some WD40?

I'll try it out again tomorrow. Maybe I forgot the open throttle on the third cylinder.
