I think it is nice. An "F" done in the 70's cafe racer theme. Clean and retains the "F" tank and side covers.
Much better than some of the monstrosities I see guys making with these lowered flat black "rat rod" style bikes. I haven't seen one yet that didn't look much worse than what they started with. Great way to create a $200 bike out of a $500 bike. |

Saw it, didn't agree with the comment about "trimming away the bulbous endpiece of the standard bike", if anything taking away the tail makes the bike look chunkier and unfinished.
Still, it's nice to see another F get the wrenchmonkees style cafe treatment. |

I like parts of it, but I don't like the seat/tail end treatment.
I am not sure about the paint and I think if you put an emblem on a tank, it should look regal and significant. The one on this bike looks like a piece off the corner of a table cloth.
I like how the front fender was trimmed.
That megaphone is really cool. |

Am I missing the point of this bike? Isn’t it just a CB900FD (standard paint scheme and all) with the tail piece missing, clip ons and some fork gaiters?
I’m not knocking the bike as such – if someone out there likes it more power to them, but I’m afraid I cannot see what all the fuss is about?
Perhaps the Black and white potography is supposed to make it special?

You are right Andy, not a lot done, but it the bike has been impeccably restored except for the mods. |

The tail end of the bike just looks hacked off where they removed the "bulbous endpiece"! There are some links to other interesting CBF sites in there, too. |
