Hi
Nice looking bike mate, how long have you had the harris? last time i phoned Norman Hyde they said there were no plans to make them for our bikes although they have started to make them for some old Suzuki and Kawasaki bikes.

28/5/2004 after waiting six weeks for delivery
but i believe there was some problem over ownership of tooling or manufacturing rights this maybe the reason that you cant get them now (but dont quote me) |

My God, that is such an awesome bike. The attention to detail is awesome, you did a great job and I super am jealous!
But I hope you dont ride in the rain, cause my hands just hurt thinking about how look it would take to polish that thing.
Great job.

it only looks this good because I rebuilt it last year.
this is the second time. first time was in 1989 after i
saved her from the breakers yard she was in original
trim paint/pipe the lot
she had 7450 miles on the clock and last road tax 1983
she been dry stored and looked like she had never seen
rain that's the good news.
the bad news was she had been thrown up the road.
but the damage was mostly cosmetic tank head light
rev counter engine castings pipes etc.
but to cut a very long story short.
I junked every thing that was scratched
or broken.
and spent a lot of time and money over the next two years sourcing parts etc etc.
but she is as straight as a die and never once let me down .to quote the old adage. I look after her and she looks after me.
the mileage now 24000 ish semi synthetic oil and filter every 1100-1200 miles religiously
HO NO have i given you the life story.LOL
now the answer to your first question young man is cb900f,s can out run all but the most cunning rain storms. and the answer to your second question is 21 years.('')('')http://img4013.photobox.co.uk/365355311b69f1ea3b55ce22bbaebb3ba9e2da638f326cb0164525b99df8a5302ffe8620.jpg |

I'm normally a stock paint kind of guy, but your bike is just stunning.

Sorry for the hijack, but I got a horrible fright when I saw the title of this post. Bad memories of he who must not be named.
By the way very nice bike, you must have put in a lot of polishing time. |
