How do you find the accuracy of the Suzuki gauges? When I had GS800's mounted on my 750, the speedometer was off my 8-10MPH and the tach was off by 500RPM. Did you verify that they are accurate?

i just connects to the signal/pulse wire on either of the coils.its very simple.

the tack has 3 wires.12 volt input, ground and signal wire.on the gsxr the signal wire goes directly to the cdi box.

my bike has entire an custom/miminized harness.i wired all of this in before i wrapped it back up.uses all factory style connections.
