Hi Everyone.
This recent R auction in the US got me thinking. How many of these bikes exist in the states? (educated guess, I know)
How much are they really worth. I know they are worth as much as people pay for them, but what seems to be the asking price for this bike (US).
My reasons for asking is I am graduating school in May (hopefully the last time) and it is a bit of a family tradition to buy a gift for oneself after endurring the fun of college. (my father bought himself a bike, my brother a Vintage Camaro....ect)
It looks to me that an R would never devalue from an investment standpoint. And it is an R .
Thanks
Jim
(Already has been saving for the R!)

Jim,
Don't think of it as investment if you are gonna ride it. Wrapped up in cling film from new then maybe - but you need to get on it and ride it!
Shares are a better option but ya can't ride those!

I am not sure of the number of R bikes in the states but I know Stoutblock has that info. For some reason I remember him posting something about it in the past. I seem to think it was less than 12. But I can be wrong. |
