Is oil pump same in CB900F, CB1100F and CB1100R. Now have CB1100R with oil light on and off near idle if hot. I have new CB900F oil pump. Will satisfy CB1100R? Thanks your help. |

hello is the engine noisy? if the mileage or track time is high engine wear can cause a drop in oil pressure is there excess oil smoke from the exhaust ? while you have the engine apart you need to measure bearing clearances at all the crank journals and piston to bore clearances inspect for wear or damage an overhaul is likely needed during which the oil pump should be replaced with the correct one i would compare to make sure of a fit also compare part numbers good luck walt |

Hi!
I have the parts list of CB1100R and CB900F. Probably, there is no problem, since it is the same as CB1100R if the part number of CB900F which you have is "15100-438-003" when it is compared. It is if the part number which you have is "15100-438-000" ... Maybe It is O.K. |

Sound is quiet when 60,000+ kms and after some racing before coming to my home. Refurbishment every part soon but was thinking oil pumps are same and I have this for 900. Maybee 1100 have more oil passage in pump. If someone knows this to see in workshop books. |

Thanks to you Nao. From numbers I can try pump now. Going to full refurbishment anyway so better to find the wrong pump before taking down. |
