Great mag in general on bikes from our era!

Dave is right,
Hey guys, in the article pics. What are the oil lines by the counter shaft sproket? Looks like an oil pump driven from there?

Thanks, guys, for the kind words about Moto Retro and the Baldwin/CB1025 piece I did in issue three. Much appreciated! Looking to do more of this sort of thing down the road, and if any of you have story ideas, I'm game. We're doing an in-depth piece on Honda's first Interceptor in issue 4, and some other cool Honda stuff in the future.

Hope all's well out there....

Great to see ya on here Mitch and it was nice to finally meet you at Mid-O Vintage Days!

Many of us that started roadracing as kids in the late '70's and early '80's would love to see some more articles about the glory days of roadracing like the Baldwin/1025 piece. Maybe do an article or two on the racers of the day as you have with Eddie Lawson, KRSr and now Mike Baldwin.
An in depth article on vintage Yoshimura or Wes Cooley would be awesome too.
Racecrafters Kawasaki comes to mind as well...
Seems there's a large amount of interest and articles on VMX but very little available about early roadracing in America.

Thanks again for putting out a fantastic publication Mitch, I am getting more people to subscribe every day..

Thanks Dave, for the kind words and the story ideas. Plenty of that sort of RR stuff scheduled in the coming year Wink

Thanks also for spreading the word. Every little bit helps!

Hello Mitch, great mag bro.

I remember riding my CBX (which I still have) to Rock Store, Neptunes Net and Newcombs and places like that back in the 70's and 80's. How about having your readers send you some pics of the old days at those hang outs...compare the bikes and people through the years.....

Anyway, again your mag is AWESOME!

Mario

Where is this magazine found at retail?

I stopped by the local Barnes & Noble a few days ago, not on the shelf, visited the information booth and was told they don't carry it. I managed to find all the issues of Motorcyclist Retro there when it was in print and also, noticed them at several local supermarkets magazine racks too.

NorCal, For now I think it's only avail thru subs but Mitch can chime in and correct me if I am wrong....

Why don't ya just subscribe? You get to see all the cool issues and it helps the magazine succeed.
